The Golf House is a detached residence in its own grounds situated between Totland Bay and Alum Bay at the western tip of the Isle of Wight, and provides luxury 4 star Bed & Breakfast accommodation.
It is surrounded by National Trust Land in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and there are stunning views from every window.
Our produce is home-grown or locally sourced, wherever possible. Our free-range chickens provide your breakfast eggs and we make all our own preserves.
We are proud recipients of the prestigious AA Egg Cup breakfast award, which indicates a very special breakfast, with an emphasis on freshly prepared local ingredients.
The Golf House can offer substantial evening snacks should you want a quiet night in.
Within a short driving distance there are a variety of eating establishments, ranging from fine dining to good pub grub to fish and chips. Our local pub serves good food and is only half a mile away.
The Golf House is situated in the beautiful rural countryside of West Wight. Surrounded by fields and farmland this is an ideal location from which to explore our lovely island. Beaches at Freshwater, Totland and Colwell are a short drive / cycle away, and the world renowned Needles are practically on our doorstep. Accommodation
‘Tennyson’ offers guests two double bedrooms, private bathroom and sitting room with Sky TV (including sports and movies).
‘Alum Bay’ has a king size bed, ensuite bathroom with separate shower and Freeview TV.
The Breakfast Room is downstairs in the main house. On warm mornings breakfast can be served in the garden if desired.
In addition to the guests’ accommodation there is a games room, including a full size snooker table, which is available (at a small charge) for guests’ use.
The 2 airy guestrooms are furnished in a plain manner with en suite or private bathrooms, 1 with a separate living room. Both have flat-screen TVs with satellite channels.
A locally sourced breakfast is free. There's also a game room with a full-size snooker table available for an extra charge. Off-street parking is offered.
