A unique place to stay offering great value for money hostel accommodation in one of the most beautiful corners of Wales. Welcome to The Old School Hostel and Budget Bed and Breakfast where we’ve had a lot of fun trying to create one of the nicest budget lodgings you’ll find anywhere.

Comfortable and characterful, we’re a far cry from spartan hostels of old. There’s free internet access plus wi-fi and the well equipped kitchen makes The Old School Hostel a great budget hostel accommodation and self catering option. The cosy lounge features an extensive library and there are plenty of toys and games to keep the kids happy.

In our experience trying to find accommodation when travelling solo can be a frustrating and expensive business. Here at The Old School we think we’ve solved that particular problem and offer what must be amongst the best value single rooms anywhere in the land. Your own room with en-suite shower, comfy memory foam mattresses, far from bland decor AND a breakfast which includes organic ingredients

Double Rooms

Our double rooms have comfy memory foam mattresses, interesting decor and an en-suite shower powered by green energy. Our light breakfast is inclusive in the price and further £££’s can  be saved if you choose to self cater in our well equipped kitchen.

Self Contained Studio Room

Our little self contained studio room is where the school dinners used to be cooked many moons ago. It’s fully en-suite with a kitchenette and separate from the main hostel building.  We think it offers the best of both worlds, the sociability and facilities of the hostel twinned with the privacy of your own snug holiday home to retire to at any time you choose. So, if you fancy a few days break in one of the world’s top coastal national parks head our way.

Family Rooms

Boxes of toys, Mousetrap and several sets of Playmobil.  We’ve had fun going that extra mile to keep the kids happy because we know that if they’re having a good time you will too. Kids love the bunk beds, the bright funky decor, the toy box and the all important wi-fi for their games. You’ll love the attention to detail, the memory foam mattresses and the clean well equipped kitchen that’ll save you £££’s because you don’t have to find somewhere to eat out every night.
