Description
A 4* self-catering cottage on the stunning North Devon coastline close to the Cornish Border. Great Tythe Barn sleeps up to 8 people in 4 bedrooms, with 1 downstairs double bedroom which is wheelchair accessible, with an adjacent wet-room. There is a fully equipped kitchen with open plan living/dining area. There is one further double bedroom with ensuite shower room and two twin rooms with shared bathroom on the first floor.

Access to the cottage is on one level and there is a pick/drop off point outside of the cottage with parking in the main car park area.

Dogs are allowed in the cottage (charge applies). Assistance dogs are welcome free of charge. Cots and High chairs available.

Mead Barn has been converted into 5 distinct cottages sleeping between 2 and 8 people. Red Cottage is ideal for couples looking for a break away. Wheat and Barley Barn are family friendly with both containing a double bedroom and a twin bedroom. Rye Barn can host up to 6 people (one double and two twin rooms) and is wheel-chair friendly with a wet-room located off the double bedroom. Finally, our largest cottage, Great Tythe Barn sleeps 8 and again is wheelchair friendly on the ground floor which hosts a double bedroom and a wet room.

On site here at Mead Barn Cottages all of our guests have access to our Tennis Courts (rackets available in the Games Room), a children’s play area with swing, slide and rope climbs and our Games Room. The Games Room houses a Pool table and Table Tennis table. In the games room you will also find body boards for use by our guests.

All cottages are Wi-fi enabled and have a digital TV (2 in the larger barns).

2 cottages, Rye Barn and Great Tythe Barn are wheelchair accessible with at least one bedroom and wet room on ground floor level.

Mead Barn Cottages is a 15 minute walk or short drive down to Welcombe Mouth beach (small car park) which dogs are welcome on all year round.

The laundry room on site includes a washing machine and two dryers which are free of charge to use by guests.

We also have BBQs available for each cottage and seating areas dotted around the grounds.
