The Lancaster is on the Seafront Next to St. Columba's Cathedral. It is on the North side of the bay looking down Kerrera sound. 

If you enter the town from the East from Connel, you will come down the hill, from which you get a lovely view of Oban bay. At the bottom of the hill you reach a roundabout. Get into the right lane and go towards the sea. You will come to a second roundabout, there go right along the sea front (there is no entry to the left because of the one way system) St Columba's Cathedral is in front of you  (large red granite building) We are just beyond.

 If you enter the town from the South, you follow the road through the town till you come to Arygll Square. Take the fourth exit (between the Royal Hotel and the Jean Shop) along George street and you will end up on the sea front. Carry on along the seafront till you approach the roundabout, keep to the front and we are just beyond St Columba's Cathedral.

We provide the service of a small family owned hotel. The hotel has been run by the Ramage family since 1963. The hotel can accommodate up to fifty people. Our aim is to make your holiday a success, as comfortable and as enjoyable as possible. We hope to make your stay relaxing with no stress, so you return. Whether you come for leisure, pleasure or business, we hope you enjoy yourself. Many of our residents have been coming regularly, so we think we are getting something right - after all repeat business is good business.

Traditional rooms, reached via stairs only, feature tea and coffeemaking facilities, and flat-screen TVs. All but 3 rooms have en suite bathrooms, and 7 add sea views.

Swimming pool:      The Swimming Pool a 40 ft by 20 ft indoor and heated.

Steam Room:          The Steam room can seat six people at a time.

Sauna:                     The Sauna can seat up to eight people comfortably or two lying out along the benches

Breakfast is offered daily in a bright dining room, which has panoramic bay views. All-day pub-style fare is available. There's an indoor heated pool, a steam room, a sauna and a whirlpool tub. Other amenities include Wi-Fi in the common areas, consisting of 2 casual bars and guest lounges.
