Killicor Stamps is surrounded by trees and fields located in the Poldice Valley, mid way along the Portreath to Devoran national cycle trail amidst the tin mining landscape that is Cornwall's Mining World Heritage Site.

It is a very historic but rural landscape within easy reach of Perranporth and Portreath beaches for some traditional seaside fun, only 20 minutes by car to the bustling City of Truro with its shops and farmers market, the historic mining town of Redruth and the picturesque town of Falmouth with its deep water harbour, Castle and multitude of restaurants and pubs. Cornish weather is "changeable" It can be raining in the morning but sunny in the afternoon. It can be wet on the North coast but dry on the South Coast.

The narrow landmass offers a mild climate, it very rarely snows but in the winter we will get clear starry skies and an occasional frost.
