Our philosophy is to provide excellent holiday accommodation for people of all ages and abilities. That’s why so many people choose to stay with us and come back year after year.
We have been providing bed and breakfast facilities for nearly 30 years and in that time many customers have become good friends. We pride ourselves on making guests feel at home – the kettle is often on the boil and laughter’s always welcome.
Situated just off the A19 between York and Selby, South Newlands is an ideal base if you want to visit the Yorkshire Dales, Moors, Wolds or Coast.
Most recently we designed and built Strawberry Fields Cottages; 3 bungalow cottages on our own 10 acre site. Each comfortable and spacious cottage sleeps up to six people and has even been rated as 4* accommodation and Mobility Level 3 by VisitBritain. We also have limited availability for caravans and tents and even space for helicopters to land (should you like to arrive in style!). You will also find that the village of Riccall provides virtually all the amenities you will need during any stay you may have with us at South Newlands.

The self-catering Strawberry Fields Cottages at South Newlands Farm provide the ideal home for a holiday in Yorkshire. Spacious and well equipped, the 3-bedroomed wheelchair accessible cottages are located in our quiet rural area and each has convenient access to extensive and safe private grounds.
Designed with your comfort and enjoyment in mind, each cottage has been built to the highest quality standards. The master bedroom has its own en-suite facility and the large rooms and seating area outside make the cottages a perfect choice for a family holiday.

Ample wheelchair access, a wet room and generously proportioned rooms all make for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We are also able to put you in touch with other specialist suppliers should you need something that we do not provide as standard.

Read All ReviewsWe stayed in one of the Bungalows and these are fully adapted for the disabled with wet room , grab rails, and if required provision of profile beds, Hoists, commodes and several other bits of equipment. The layout inside is good with care taken to make sure good wide easy access to all areas. Wheelchair friendly and all self catering equipment is provided, everything was very clean and tidy. Accommodation is clean and disabled user friendly. The owners were very friendly and helpful and provide a very much needed rest place for disabled people to enjoy a relaxing holiday. Highly Recommended.
