The Remedy is a wine bar and kitchen run by two friends with a serious passion for food, wine and coffee. We wanted to create a cosy and relaxed place where people could discover great food and beautiful wine — something in the style of the Continental enotecas and neighbourhood bistros we know and love. And so The Remedy was born. Our name is a cheeky nod to medicinal cures of yore. We’re not doctors but we’re pretty sure a glass of great wine and a bite to eat can solve (just about) any problem.

We believe in serving simple, beautiful food. That's why we cook with the seasons, source the best available ingredients and make everything in-house where possible. We’re proud to work with local suppliers who share our quest for perfection. From the freshest breads and pastries at breakfast, perfectly-roasted coffee beans and artisan-crafted cheeses to grilled sausages and fresh native oysters, our kitchen is a treasure trove of gastronomic goodness.
