Wendy's Wing is a lovely ground floor self catering holiday cottage at Greetham Retreat in Lincolnshire. It has level access through a wide front door and wider than normal interior doors leading to bedroom and bathroom. This cottage has been graded by Visit England as 4* star and has also been awarded the prestigious 'Gold Award' for quality and customer service. It has beautiful high vaulted ceilings with original beams throughout. The living area has a comfortable leather sofa, chair and footstool and a real wood floor and a tiled fully equipped kitchen area with dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave and electric hob and oven. The dining area features a wooden dining table and leather chairs. Contemporary in style and uncluttered by design with full central heating makes this a welcoming cottage. The bedroom can have either a super king sized double bed or this can be split into 2 x adult size single beds (each 3ft wide) if preferred. There is a wall mounted TV in the bedroom along with a large wall mounted flat screen TV and DVD player in the living area. The en suite wet room has under floor heating and a radiator and features an electric shower, toilet and wash hand basin with semi pedestal so a wheelchair can fit close to it. We have a number of aids available including toilet frame, raised toilet seat, shower stools, chair raisers and grab handles. A block paved disabled parking space is immediately adjacent to Wendy's Wing enabling smooth and there is level access from this parking bay to the cottage.
Located in the glorious Lincolnshire Wolds within easy access of the City of Lincoln and the beautiful east coast with the nearby market towns of Horncastle and Louth make this location a perfect base for your holiday to discover Lincolnshire. Lots of accessible places to eat out, enjoy a drink or a coffee close by too with good value and good service.
