Welcome to the Paul Jones Hotel in Dumfries, a family-run hotel, which offers excellent food, drink and accommodation. We are situated in the small coastal village of Southerness, in the region of Dumfries and Galloway. We have six fully furnished ensuite letting rooms, all with tea and coffee making facilities.
Our newly refurbished dining room can accommodate up to fifty people and is available for functions, weddings and parties. The Paul Jones Hotel is superbly appointed, with many tourist attractions and activities on the doorstep; whether it's golf, mountain biking, fishing, pony trekking, walking or simply sightseeing, there’s something for everyone.
ACCOMMODATION
Our guest accommodation is situated at the rear of the hotel. The guest accommodation is in the form of six chalets. We provide double and twin rooms, all equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, Freeview television and free car parking.
The rates available are: room only, B+B or DB+B. We provide reduced rates for guests staying 3 nights or more. Although Wi-Fi is not available in the guest rooms at the moment, you can log in at the bar area of the hotel.
FUNCTIONS & ENTERTAINMENT
Whatever your requirements, weddings, christenings, birthdays or anniversaries we can accommodate your needs. We can provide splendid buffets, set menus and entertainment packages to suit. All our packages are available at reasonable prices.
We have a wide selection of entertainment catering for all, including free Wi-Fi, pool tables, a jukebox, Sky Sports television, video games, karaoke, live music, and more. In the summer months we have live entertainment and themed nights regularly.
