Futuroscope, or Parc du Futuroscope is a French theme park based upon multimedia, cinematographic futuroscope and audio-visual techniques.
Futuroscope was awarded the national Tourism & Handicap Label of Distinction in recognition of its facilities for physically and mentally handicapped visitors and visitors with hearing difficulties. This label of distinction requires the holder to sign a charter of commitment.
Download here our tour guide for the disabled. It offers a recommended arrowed itinerary for visitors in wheelchairs, including rest stages.
This guide is also available at the Translation Headset desk located at the Main Entrance.
Wheelchairs are available at the main entrance and at the Futuroscope-TGV Train Station. Free of charge, with deposit (reservations are not required. Subject to availability).
Adapted entrance facilities provide easy access to restaurants. The boutiques also provide disabled access and adapted cash desks.
Priority access is available at the entrance to the attractions for disabled visitors and their escorts upon presentation of a disability card (limited to 4 people). Ask the hosts or hostesses for details. They can help disabled visitors with access to the attractions, but for safety reasons may not carry them.
Wheelchair access restrictions apply for the following attractions:
Arthur the 4D Adventure, Dynamic, and certain games in Children’s World: visitors in wheelchairs must be transferred to one of the dynamic seats or use one of the designated wheelchair places.
Dances with Robots, The Arena, Aerobar and Journey into the Dark: no access for visitors with reduced mobility.
Please arrive at the attractions 15 minutes before the start of each performance. Capacity is limited in each theatre and all available places for the performance may already be taken by the time you arrive. If this happens, notify a host or hostess at the attraction so that you will be given priority access to the next performance.

Pay for your parking as soon as you arrive or you’ll be in a very long queue when it is time to go when everyone else is also waiting to pay. Disabled vehicles are free as long as you take your blue badge with your parking ticket to the booth at the entrance to have it validated. The IMagic show was a hit with everyone as was our final show. We found the food to be of high quality and reasonably priced. The battery on my fathers buggy started to run flat before the day was over and the staff in the guest services put it on charge and lent us a wheelchair to use free of charge for the remainder of the visit. It was a pleasant experience.
