Day or night, you’ll feel on top of the world as the Melbourne Star glides on its gentle arc through the sky. No spin is the same, as you watch the constantly changing drama of the busy port, scenic gardens, bustling streets and bright lights of the city below. The Melbourne Star brings the whole of Melbourne together – the sophisticated, the grungy and the downright quirky – in spectacular views reaching up to 40km from Melbourne’s CBD and Port Phillip Bay through to Mount Macedon and the Dandenong Ranges in the distance.

The Melbourne Star Observation Wheel welcomes guests with mobility restrictions and specific needs.

Lift access is provided to the boarding deck and ramps are available to assist with ease of movement into and out of the cabins for guests who require additional assistance. The Melbourne Star pauses temporarily when boarding guests in wheelchairs and to assist those who require additional time.

I am a wheelchair user and found the staff very helpful. I was looked after on boarding as well as leaving the wheel. Plenty of room in the cabin to allow me to move around also. The wheel takes approximately 30 minutes and there is an audio describing what you are seeing from all directions.
