We are a small family run hotel with a wonderful view of the surrounding fells situated on the edge of the Lake District and the coast to coast cycle way. Only two miles from Ennerdale village, the first stop for Wainwrights coast to coast walkers.
HOTEL PICK UP SERVICE
Our fully licensed and insured courtesy bus available to and from Ennerdale Bridge for our guests as they finish the first day of the coast to coast walk.
The pick-up and drop-off point is outside the Shepherds Arms in Ennerdale, where there is a public phone. (free lift available up-to 6:30pm)

For over Ten years we have proudly looked after walkers visiting the English Lake District, with guests from all over the World, and many of them staying more than once due to our warm Cumbrian welcome! Our guests often comment on the quietness and beauty of the Western Lakeland Fells, and visit specifically for the enjoyable unspoiled walks.
Real Homemade Food
We serve traditional home cooked food, using the very best fresh local produce where possible. We offer an extensive main menu, containing a great range of pub classics including steak pie and Cumberland sausage. We also offer a pack lunch menu with a variety of sandwiches.
