In 1990, having farmed in Littondale for generations, the Cowan family converted the original stone-built farm buildings which were over 200 years old – this was the beginning of Stonelands Farmyard Cottages which has now been a family run business for 20 years, being owned & run since 2012 by ourselves – Mark & Ruth Cowan.

Stonelands offers fantastic amenities including an indoor heated swimming pool (25ft x 16ft) (open daily between 9am -9pm) and a sauna (open daily between 4pm & 8pm) set in a beautiful 200 year old barn. After a hard day of walking and exploring enjoy a sauna and a leisurely swim to help you relax and unwind.

A fantastic, detached cottage for a larger family. This delightful cottage has views over the raised lawn and into it’s own garden at the rear and down the meadows beyond.

Tansy Close was once part of the milking parlour, hence its superb arched windows in the master bedroom. The cottage features exposed beams.

Guidlerbanks is an attractive cottage featuring exposed beams.
Elbeck
A delightful, one bedroom semi-detached cottage.
Spion Cop
Set at one end of the barn, Spion Cop has views over the courtyard and up to the woods. Situated on the first floor above the pool area.

A delightful apartment with lovely views up the valley towards Litton. Ideal for a first, or even second honeymoon. Situated on the first floor above the pool area.
