NORMAL CENTRE OPENING HOURS
West Orchards shopping centre. Offering a wide choice of retail outlets with major high street names, from Debenhams and Goldsmiths to The Body Shop and Thorntons. You can also have something to eat in the diverse and varied Canteen, with Krispy Kreme, LoveShake, Costa and Chopstix, you’ll be spoilt for choice.
ACCESSIBLE SHOPPING
There is flat level access with automatic doors from Iron Monger Row and Smithford Way. There is also flat level access from all car park levels with automatic doors, in the Blue and Yellow corners. Inside the centre, there are two main lifts in the atrium, from ground floor to level 5, and a lift located near Footasylum to gain access to The Link Mall.
We are happy to say you can pick up a free sunflower lanyard from Auntie Annes on Level 1.
These lanyards are to be used to help our shoppers who have a hidden disability. Who may need a bit of extra support whilst shopping.
By wearing your lanyard we wont know your individual disability- but just tell us what you need, whether that be extra time at checkout or help packing your bags. We want to help you have the best possible experience whilst shopping with us here at West Orchards.
PARENT AND CHILD FACILITIES
We have bottle warming facilities available at CANTEEN on level 2 of the centre. Please also ask at specific retailers such as Costa, for facilities that they offer in store. There is also an enclosed private breast feeding room, located within the ladies toilet area.
We have a three level multi-storey car park, open Monday to Saturday from 8:00am until 6:30pm (last entry 5:30pm) and on Sunday from 10:00am until 5:00pm (last entry 4:00pm). There are various numbers Parent & Toddler car parking spaces located on each level. There are also wider bays on level 5 for larger cars. No discounts are available to disabled customers for parking costs, as this is a Coventry City Council owned car park.
SHOPMOBILITY
You cannot hire wheelchairs or self-drive scooters from the centre. Mobility Pathways (Shopmobility) is located at Barracks Car Park, and is open 8.45am – 4.30pm Monday to Saturday. Their contact number is 024 7683 2020. Note: Wheelchairs and scooters are subject to availability and relevant ID is required.
