The Prom café is situated around the back of Larne Leisure Centre along the promenade front with windows looking out onto the Irish Sea and Chaine Memorial Tower so you can watch the boats and ferries sail by.
You can enjoy a refreshing walk along Larne promenade with its Jurassic coastline and exceptional coastal views then enjoy their gorgeous food and a warm welcome! Most of the food served is prepared using fresh, locally sourced ingredients, which should prove to be irresistible. As well as having a set menu, they have a range of different daily specials for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The menu which changes daily contains something for everyone – with a separate children’s menu with yummy food perfect for little ones.
They serve tasty healthy salads, delicious succulent burgers and a range of scrumptious sandwiches. They also serve afternoon tea and their cakes are all homemade. You can either pop into their café or give them a call for more information or to book a table.
They have a beautiful patio area where you can enjoy coffee in the sun and watch the ships go by. They can also provide dogs with water while they wait for you to finish your food. The Prom Café is also Dementia friendly and has a community garden nearby. Don't forget to also scan the café’s walls for interesting maritime memorabilia and old tourism posters.
Afternoon Tea - Enjoy a Victorian style afternoon tea served in china cups and saucers, includes scones, mini petit fours and finger sandwiches with a range of teas and coffees available. Availability: One days notice required, any food allergies to be given in advance.
