V36 - at the Valley is situated beside Valley Leisure Centre, the new attraction will provide a great opportunity for local clubs and individuals from different backgrounds to participate in sport, recreation and art-based activities. This new shared space development, which received £3.58 million funding under the EU PEACE III Programme will host many events for the Borough, offering fun for all the family!
V36 is an exciting new Council facility consisting of a civic linear park, adventure play area and a floodlit third generation pitch suitable for football, rugby and Gaelic sports.

Car Parking:
A new car park has been developed as part of the facilities; this is accessible via the main vehicle entrance on Church Road.
In order to create a pedestrian friendly space, there will be a vehicle barrier in place to ensure vehicles cannot advance beyond the car park area. Only permitted vehicles such as the emergency services will have access beyond this point.
Additional car parking is available in the main car park at the front of the Valley Leisure Centre or at the car park on O’Neill Road.
Expressions of interest are currently being taken for block bookings on the 3G pitch.
The event space is available for individuals/organisations to hire to host an event.
Under the Dog Control Orders, dogs are permitted in the following areas:
On leads: Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times when in and around the V36 facility.
Off leads: Dogs are only permitted off leads at the upper end of the Valley Park.
Dogs are not permitted within the boundaries of the adventure play area or the 3G pitch.
Opening Times:
The Civic Linear Park will be open from 6am – 10pm every day.
Outside of these hours the gates at Church Road and Longlands Avenue will be locked.
Please note the Play Area will be opened and closed at the following times:
April - October: 9am – 9pm
November - March: 9am – dusk or 6pm
