An established and popular location within Belfast, Portview is accessible from all across the north and south of Ireland.
Portview, formerly Strand Spinning Mill and built during the late 1800’s, is a busy, dynamic and successful commercial centre for business in the heart of Belfast. It is the home to a wide range of enterprises who not only enjoy the close proximity to Belfast City centre but who desire a location with character and heritage.
During the early 20th century, Portview Trade Centre was a linen spinning mill.
With the decline in production of linen and synthetic fibres in Belfast, the mill ceased trading and in the early 1980's, the building was sold and converted into useable workspaces for small businesses.
Many of the features of the mill remain and yet the units are modern, making Portview a very comfortable and inspiring business environment.
The buildings of Portview are steeped in history.
