Groups: The Manor is the ideal centre for school groups, church family holidays, weekend conferences and college groups. It is well equipped to cater for up to 69 in number with ensuite bedrooms sleeping up to 5 people. Set in a superb location overlooking Bassenthwaite Lake, enjoy the experience of our adventure equipment in the grounds - there's something for all ages. You could abseil from the balcony, climb a crate tower or have a go at archery, to name a few of the activities on offer.

Holidays: Activity holidays for individuals and couples, such as walking, multi activity, sea kayaking or river canoeing.  Alternatively come to Bassenfell for a relaxing 'Bassenfell Break' to do your own thing or enjoy some crafts.

Holiday Apartment: If you’d prefer to come to Bassenfell and enjoy a short break to do your own holiday, we have a well-equipped self-catering holiday apartment, which sleeps up to 4.

Courses: Mountain Leadership, Sailing, Canoe and Kayak courses happen at Bassenfell in July. Contact us with your enquiry.

• 19 Bedrooms in total (15 with en-suite facilities and 4 with a private bathroom) from twin/double rooms up to the largest which can accommodate 5 people. Total 65 beds spaces. The apartment can provide additional room for 4 people.
• Ground Floor Bedroom with en-suite shower suitable for people with mobility problems, sleeps up to 4.
• Lounge with soft furnishing for 40, audio loop system, p.a. system with CD/DVD players
• Coffee bar adjoining the lounge with electric water boiler and fridge
• Dining Room seating up to 75 with panoramic views over Bassenthwaite Lake
• Kitchen, fully equipped to cater for 75
