All of food is cooked fresh using only locally sourced sustainable produce. pies are all handmade to order with fresh pastry made daily. All of the ingredients are prepared and cooked before placing them in the pie case and then into the oven.
All of our burgers are 100% Aberdeen Angus steak mince and are again made to order using fresh meat delivered daily. We do not pre-press our burgers, when you order one of our delicious burgers, we scoop out the mince, add our flavourings, form a pattie and griddle a juicy burger in around 25 minutes.
We are not a fast food restaurant, we cook good food as fast as we can. We believe that good food is worth waiting for, and in the comfortable relaxed restaurant, we believe there is nowhere better to enjoy good food with great company than The Georgie Porgie Pie & Burger Co.
Handmade Pies
We believe our award winning handmade pies are probably the best pies in the country. Our pies are famous, and are appreciated by our customers far and wide. GP pies are all especially made to order. We do not pre-prepare any of them. When you order your pie, we roll out the freshly made pastry, stuff it full of your desired filling, put on the lid and bake in the oven. The cooking process takes 30 minutes, but we can assure you it is well worth the wait. We are confident that when your pie arrives, it will be one of the best pies you will ever taste.
Gourmet Burgers
Using locally sourced fine steak mince, our gourmet burgers are made to order on the premises using our own recipes. We use only prime meat and top quality flavourings to create these superb patties. All our burgers are served with skin on fries, salad, GP burger sauce and homemade coleslaw.
Lunch: 12 PM to 3 PM Friday to Sunday
Dinner: 5 PM to 10 PM All Week
