Panelled, 18th-century country pub offering British dining, real ales and outside seating.
In 1780 the Mermaid Inn was one of 23 houses in the vicinity of old Wightwick Manor. The manor house was handed over to the National Trust in 1937, and the Mermaid benefited from a new influx of visitors who came to see the historic house. We still welcome them today.
Our menus are full of hearty favourites and country pub classics, as well as our seasonal spring dishes, and we’ll be ready with a well-stocked bar, including cask ales, fine wines and British gin to suit very taste - which will taste all the better when enjoyed either in our beautiful gardens or by our crackling log fires.
The Mermaid is a dog friendly pub in Wightwick.
Dogs are allowed in the bar area of our pub, as this is the most friendly environment for you and your four-legged friends to feel relaxed, safe, and happy at all times during your visit.
