Accessibility

The closest car park to the entrance of the attraction is Barton Square, located near Event City. There are accessible parking bays available in all intu Trafford Centre car parks. All parking is free.

Assistance dogs are welcome.

We do not provide wheelchairs or strollers at our attraction, however guests are able to rent these from the intu Trafford Centre Customer Services desk, located in the Main Dome.

We do not offer a different rate for disabled guests. However, if a member of your party has a disability, they will be entitled to admit one free carer with them. Please show one of the following items to a member of our Front of House Team in order to obtain your carer ticket:

  • A certified NHS letter from your doctor or consultant (dated within the last 2 years).
  • A letter or statement from a professional body (e.g. a Nurse or a BUPA Healthcare Advisor).
  • A blue badge along with additional form of photographic ID.
  • A DLA letter.

We have a Changing Places facility onsite which is available for people with multiple disabilities who are accompanied by one or more assistants and can be accessed using a Radar key.

This is located upstairs in our attraction, near our main toilet facilities. It is signposted from the lifts and throughout the main attraction.

The Changing Places facility uses the Radar Key system. If you do not have your own Radar Key, there is one available from our Coffee Shop.

We have accessible toilets near to the main stairway, towards the exit and within our Coffee Shop located inside the main area of the attraction. Please ask a member of the team if you need assistance in locating these.

We have a selection of free ear defenders available from our admissions desk. Please ask a member of the team if you require these.

Age, height, weight and further restrictions apply to all of our rides. Please see the individual rides for further information.

How do I get a Ride Access Pass?

You can request a Ride Access Pass from our admissions team by showing one of the following items:

  • A certified NHS letter from your doctor or consultant clearly stating why you are eligible for the pass or how your disability affects you in this kind of environment (dated within the last 2 years).
  • A letter or statement from a professional body (e.g. a Nurse or BUPA Healthcare Advisor) clearly stating why you are eligible for the Pass or how your disability affects you in this kind of environment (dated within the last 2 years).
  • A DLA, DWP or PIP letter stating that you are entitled to higher rate mobility allowance (dated within the last 2 years). PLEASE NOTE: We will only accept higher rate mobility allowance for a Ride Access Pass, no other letters will be accepted.
  • A blue badge with an additional form of photographic ID.

How does the Ride Access Pass work?

Our Ride Access Pass is a virtual queuing system which allows our guests to enjoy our rides with a reduced queue line.

  • Ride Access Pass users will enter the rise through the exit or accessible entrance.
  • On arrival, the ride attendant will ask to see today's pass.
  • Before allowing access to the ride, the ride attendant will mark the card with the time at which the pass user can enjoy their next ride - placing them in a virtual queue. We calculate queue times using a two tier system: Red Days - School holidays and weekends: 20 minutes. Green Days - Weekdays during term time: 10 minutes.
  • The relevant time is then added on to the time you join the ride which will give you your next ride time.

PLEASE NOTE: The Ride Access Pass system does not guarantee that there will be no need to queue especially during busy times.
