Just 15 minutes from the coast, offering a fun, creative and friendly experience, with outstanding home cooked food in a location with lots to see and do.
The Lodge at Solent is situated in Fareham, a market town at the north west tip of Portsmouth Harbour, between the cities of Portsmouth and Southampton in the south east of Hampshire, England.
The perfect place to explore. Whether it’s a visit to the beautiful Titchfield Abbey or a bit of boulder climbing with the children at the Red Spider Climbing Centre, Fareham has it all. Plus Hill Head beach is only a 15-minute drive away and the New Forest is on our doorstep. You could even take a ferry to the neighbouring Isle of Wight and explore all it has to offer.
After a tiring day out, return to the lodge and tuck into a mouth-watering burger off the grill or one of our popular pizzas, with a beer or glass of wine and then sink into bed for the best night’s sleep you’ll ever have.

Our brand new rooms are all spacious, light and airy with a contemporary coastal twist as a nod to the beautiful south coast. You’ll find all you need for a great stay, and our continental breakfast is included in your room rate.
Family rooms offer a double or twin room with an additional sofa bed which will accommodate up to two children under the ages of 12 or one child under 16. We also have a selection of interconnecting rooms available.
