Introduction / Description
Welcome to Smiths Court Hotel, set just above Margate, on the clifftops of Cliftonville. We offer stunning sea views and a selection of sandy beaches within walking distance. The Turner Contemporary, and Margate Old Town are a stroll away, and the rest of the Isle of Thanet easily accessible.
We offer a range of rooms from single rooms, double or twin rooms, superior rooms and family suites. We have a number of rooms which benefit from the sea view, all rooms are accessible by lift. We have off-road parking, disabled access, and a specifically designed room with wheel-in shower, lowered surfaces and grab rails.
All our rooms are accessible by our lift, although some do have stairs to the room or in the room, and we have one room specifically designed for wheelchair users, including a roll-in shower and lowered surfaces. Two of our rooms are pet friendly, and have their own access to the sea-front without needing to walk through the hotel lounge.
Pet-friendly, sea-view, adapted and twin rooms are all dependent on availability, so please let us know all of your requirements at the time of booking.

The hotel has off-road car parking at the rear of the hotel, and there is plenty of unrestricted parking outside the front of the hotel.

We have one specially adapted room which is suitable for wheelchair users. With a roll-in shower, lowered surfaces and a wet room, as well as grab rails throughout, this room is perfect for wheelchair users.
This room has a double bed as well as a single bed, so can be sold as a double or twin room.
We have a number of other rooms which are accessible by wheelchair, but are not specifically designed for the purpose, so we have a room for you no matter what your specific requirements.
