Introduction / Description
Stayokay Amsterdam East offers spacious rooms and dormitories with a private bathroom. The hostel is housed in a former school building from around 1900. The hostel is located to the east of the city centre in a quiet, typical Amsterdam neighbourhood. It has a restaurant that offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. Besides that the hostel contains a cinema and a theater, which is a fantastic entertainment combination.
The hostel has recently been renovated and has spacious shared and private rooms, each with its own bathroom.
Arrival & Car Parking
The tram stops right outside the building and will take you to the city centre in 15 minutes or bike to the historic center of Amsterdam. From Amsterdam Central Station, it is possible to reach the hostel with Buss 22. The bus stops in front of the Victoria Hotel. Take the bus in the direction of ‘de Indische Buurt’ and get off at Javaplein. Another option is to take Tram 14 to the Zeeburgerdijk.
In the streets around the hostel parking is paid, between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. Parking is cheaper at P + R Zeeburg. F
From Park & Ride Zeeburg, take bus 37 towards the Amstel station, Muiderpoort station. From here you take the Insulindeweg and turn left onto Sumatrastraat. You will find Stayokay at the end of this street.
