NEMO Science Museum is a science centre in Amsterdam, Netherlands. It is located in the Oosterdokseiland neighbourhood in the Amsterdam-Centrum borough, situated between the Oosterdokseiland and the Kattenburg. The museum has its origins in 1923, and is housed in a building designed by Renzo Piano since 1997.

Accessibility
NEMO is easy to reach by public transport. The striking copper-green building can already be seen from Amsterdam Central Station. You can also find NEMO by car or bicycle.
Parking in the center of Amsterdam is expensive. NEMO does not have its own parking. There are four parking garages in the vicinity of NEMO. NEMO visitors receive a discount on two of them. The parking rates vary per garage and are regularly adjusted. This discount is not given when paying with a credit card. Look for current parking rates on the website of the garage. More affordable parking is possible at various P + R locations on the outskirts of the city.
P + R garages
There are several parking garages in Amsterdam with a P + R scheme. Parking is much cheaper in these garages. From the garage you can easily travel by public transport to the center of Amsterdam. For example P + R Noord or P + R Zeeburg are suitable locations.
