The Pheasant Restaurant is located in the heart of Co. Down, Northern Ireland. We offer fine dining in our restaurant, using fresh and local produce. Having great facilities for meetings, small weddings and conferences, we also have a traditional bar where local visitors mingle and soak up the warm, friendly atmosphere, whether you fancy A perfect Guinness or freshly made cocktail.

Our menus are designed to offer the best and freshest of local produce, including game from the neighbouring Larchfield Estate and ingredients and dishes from around the globe. As a sister restaurant to the Award Winning Plough Inn, Hillsborough, naturally seafood is our house speciality all year round. Our other sister restaurant is The Tannery in Moria.

Our Highland Bar and Snug are the ideal places to drop in for a refreshing drink, a meal or enjoy a Cappuccino or even a Macchiato coffee. The restaurant, with its Gothic decor and great food is perfect for a quiet meal or a more exuberant gathering to celebrate a special occasion. Our function rooms caters for parties, weddings, conferences and meetings. We also have a large car park which is suitable for coach party parking.

They maintain a high standard of food and service and are passionate about our Game dishes. In winter we offer Pheasant from our local Larchfield Estate, forest shot wood pigeon, partridge from Ballycastle Estate and venison from Caledon. In summer our chefs create mouth watering Lobster and Seafood dishes in true Gastro Pub style. Specially selected Fruits of the Sea are available all year round.
