The National Wax Museum Plus is a privately owned waxworks museum in Dublin, Ireland. On April 25 The National Wax Museum Plus opened its doors in 22-25 Westmoreland Street, Dublin 2.
We do try to make our attraction as easily accessible to as wide a range of people as possible, and succeed for the most part. However due to the limitations afforded to us by the nature of the building that houses our attraction, there are some limitations as described below.
General Access
Each visitor receives a floor plan on arrival and will be advised on the most suitable route to take. Museum staff will be on hand to provide information and assist groups when using the elevator.
Unfortunately the elevator does not serve the Time Vaults and Chambers of Horror. Due to the nature of the tour and the building itself, at busy times we are unable to cater for several buggies at once therefore we recommend taking a baby carrier with you for your comfort and safety.
Wheelchair Access
The attraction is partially wheelchair accessible. The elevator serves all floors. There are disabled toilets. Due to the nature of the building there is a limit to the amount of wheelcharis which we can accommodate at any one time. We can only accept three wheelchairs at a time. We strongly recommend booking in advance of your visit. Please call 00353 1 6718373 to arrange these specific cases.
Baby changing facilities
There are Baby changing facilities located on the ground floor, a staff member will gladly direct you.
Access with Buggies/Prams
Due to the nature of the building itself, at busy times we are unable to cater for several buggies at once therefore we recommend taking a baby carrier with you for your comfort and safety. It’s also a priority to provide wheelchair access above that of buggies so please understand that special needs take priority when visiting.
