The Hugh Lane Gallery, officially Dublin City Gallery The Hugh Lane and originally the Municipal Gallery of Modern Art, is an art gallery operated by Dublin City Council and its subsidiary the Hugh Lane Gallery Trust.

Tuesday to Thursday 9.45am– 6pm
Friday 9.45am – 5pm
Saturday 10am – 5pm
Sunday 11am – 5pm
Closed Mondays
Dublin City Gallery The Hugh Lane has full wheelchair access throughout the Gallery. There is wheelchair parking directly outside the Gallery and a ramp to access the Gallery’s entrance. There are two wheelchairs available on request from the Gallery reception.
Information Desk
The Gallery’s Information Desks is located on the right on entrance to the Gallery. Staff are happy to help with any questions you have.
Toilets
Accessible and standard toilets are located on the ground floor entrance hallway and on basement level.
Baby changing facilities
Baby changing facilities are available on the basement level and ground floor toilets.
Lifts
There are two lifts at The Hugh Lane:
A large lift beside the reception area, which provides access to all floors
A small lift in the new wing corridor which provides access from the ground floor to the first floor exhibition galleries
Cloakroom
There is a cloakroom in the basement which can be reached via steps or the lift. You may be requested to leave briefcases, bags, sticks or umbrellas in the cloakroom. Large bags and rucksacks must be placed behind reception. Buggies can also be stored at reception, subject to space availability. . All articles are deposited at the owner's risk.
Seating
Folding seats are available, just ask a member of staff or at the Information Desks.
Cafe and Bookshop
The Gallery’s cafe and bookshop are open during Gallery opening hours.
