Situated in a grand turn-of-the-century house, Orchard Street offers the comfort and ease of a true home away from home. Extensively refurbished in 2013, each suite features a modern, custom designed interior and sumptuous linen.
Each suite has it’s own kitchen for self-catering or you can choose to have breakfast provided. All suites have modern bathrooms, separate bedroom(s) and living areas, plus stunning views over the harbour, the CBD and beyond. Each suite opens to it’s own outdoor area in which to relax.
ACCOMMODATION
Each apartment opens to its own outdoor area and offers stunning views that stretch over the harbour, the Westpac Stadium and the CBD to the hills above Oriental Parade. The views can also be enjoyed from a larger communal outdoor area at the front of the property. Off street car parking is available for guests, as is a small children’s play area. Sumptuous linen and towels will be waiting for you in your suite upon arrival.
The Studio
The Studio is a self-contained one-bedroom apartment with its own entrance. What it lacks in size it makes up for in character, light, warmth and amenities.
The good sized bedroom is nestled at the back of the property, with a queen canopy bed and French doors opening out to a private patio area. The separate bathroom has a large rain head shower. The open plan kitchenette and living area has views that stretch over the harbour, the Westpac stadium and the CBD to the hills above Oriental Parade. Thermostatically controlled heating keeps the apartment toasty throughout winter.
The Studio is non-smoking and could accommodate a baby or young child in addition to two adults. Unless agreed by prior arrangement, check-in is at 4pm with check-out at 10am.
The Billiard Suite
Located in the original Billiard room of the house, the Billiard Suite is a self-contained, two-bedroom apartment. It can easily accommodate two couples, two singles or a family group.
The Billiard Suite has a fully-equipped kitchen with freestanding oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and tea & coffee making facilities. Both bedrooms have queen sized beds with a foldaway bed available for a child, if required. There is a separate bathroom with shower and laundry facilities. The views from the open plan kitchen and living area stretch over the harbour, the Westpac Stadium and the CBD to the hills above Oriental Parade.
The Billiard Suite is non-smoking. Unless agreed by prior arrangement, check-in is at 4pm with check-out at 10am.
The Balcony Suite
The Balcony Suite is our biggest suite with two generously sized bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen, lounge/dining room, and conservatory. The large deck at the front of the suite is the perfect spot to enjoy the stunning views that stretch over the harbour, the Westpac stadium and the CBD to the hills above Oriental Parade.
The Balcony Suite can easily accommodate two couples, two singles or a family group. One bedroom has a queen sized four poster bed, the other a queen sized bed and a single bed. Additional foldaway beds are available for children, if required. Your own laundry facilities are located in the bathroom. Thermostatically controlled heating keeps the apartment warm throughout winter.
The Balcony Suite is non-smoking. Unless agreed by prior arrangement, check-in is at 4pm, with check-out at 10am.
