Well Situated Village Inn at Winston in delightful Teesdale, County Durham, it is only a few minutes walk to the outstanding landmark bridge over the river Tees, near to Barnard Castle, Staindrop, Gainford, Piercebridge, Whorlton and Ovington, only a few minutes more from Darlington, Richmond and Weardale. A Listed Historic Building, constructed in 1851 as the Winston Church of England School and was extensively refurbished and finally reopened as a quality restaurant and pub. Enjoy restaurant or pub food in the comfortable lounge bar, complete with wonderful log fire and a great drink selection.
