Uniquely housed within the Moores Building Contemporary Art Gallery in downtown Fremantle, Moore and Moore Café boasts fresh and tasty light meals in an artistically inspiring environment. The café itself boasts a sun-drenched courtyard where diners can sip, chat and relax with a great cafe-style meal after a day of touring the local artwork on display.
Moore & Moore Cafe is situated in the heritage listed Moores Building, an old merchant’s warehouse in the heart of the historic West End of Fremantle, just a brief idle from the Esplanade Park, Bathers Beach and the Fishing Boat Harbour.
It was our love of preparing delicious coffee and honest food that pushed us to create this unique eatery. And we did start it all in February of 2008, weaving some antique furniture-and-curio magic around the bare bricks and Jarrah timbers of the 150-year-old horse and cart-way.
Converted to a Contemporary Art Gallery that focuses on emerging artists, The Moores Building is a love match with Moore & Moore, where you will join students from Notre Dame University, fashionistas from the nearby boutiques, and architects, artists, environmentalists, designers, boat builders, historians, professors and just simply lovers of wholesome food and great atmosphere, who have all become part of West End Fremantle.
