The original Coro was designed in 1964 and was the tallest building in the Milton precinct for many years. When the venue first opened it was one of the most fashionable venues in Brisbane and was the first motel issued with a residential liquor license in 1970. The original motel was demolished in 2002 and the new Coro Hotel was up and running by the end of 2004.
Within The Coro operates The Patio Cafe on the ground level which offers eat in and take away food and drinks. Also within The Coro is the function centre. We cater for day meetings/seminars or sit down dinners/presentations and stand up cocktail styled events.
