Imperial War Museum Duxford is a branch of the Imperial War Museum near Duxford in Cambridgeshire, England.

Enjoy a fantastic day out on a visit to IWM Duxford.  Stand in awe of the world’s most famous and fastest planes at this historic airfield and museum. From Spitfires and Concorde to the modern day Typhoon, explore the evolution of aviation and discover the powerful stories of the brave men and women who lived and worked at RAF Duxford.

Be dwarfed in the Airspace exhibit where you can stare up into the guts of the Vulcan bomber; board Concorde, the fastest commercial jet airliner ever built; and get up close to famous Second World War classics including the Spitfire, Lancaster and Tiger Moth.

Gaze at the beautifully sleek Blackbird Spyplane, the fastest air breathing jet aircraft ever built and take in the sheer size of the B52, which stretches the length of the American Air Museum.

Learn about a generation of heroes whose bravery shaped the world we live in today in the interactive exhibition spaces and peer into the hangars where the conservation team are hard at work preserving our historic aircraft.
