With plenty of space to relax and wind down, you’ll find yourself in awe of unique architecture, ornate plasterwork, fine craftsmanship and the unusual shapes which adorn the interiors of Coul House Hotel. Magnificent fireplaces, ornate ceilings and great views from all of the public areas create a unique environment with a very relaxing ambiance.
All of the rooms are non-smoking. With most of the room types you have a choice of either a Garden-View over the parking area and entrance or the preferred Mountain-View over the main lawns to the west at the rear of the building.
Many of our repeat guests have their favourite room; whether it for its accessibility to the outside to let the dog out or for the commanding views down the glen.
Coul House is in the wee village of Contin, Ross-shire near Strathpeffer it’s a great location to experience a wide range of Highland attractions. Whether you want a deliciously relaxing break, some leisurely pursuits, or a full on adventure there’s something for everyone, very nearby.
The Dining Room offers contemporary gourmet meals with an imaginative menu, often featuring Scottish game, local salmon and, of course, our homemade breads, pastries and delightful desserts.
