Surrounded by breathtaking scenery, nestled at the foot of Beinn Eighe in the heart of the Torridon Mountains and in close proximity to several Munros, the hotel is ideally placed for you to enjoy a variety of pursuits.
Our aim is to provide you with a comfortable, warm, friendly and relaxing base for your holiday coupled with excellent, locally produced and ‘home cooked’ food washed down with the finest ales in the area or choose from a fine selection of wines.
Last but not least we have over 100 whiskies and over a dozen local Gins on offer to satisfy the connoisseur and novice alike.
we have no TV’s in the rooms, lounge or bar. We do have plenty of books, games and good ol banter to keep you entertained.
As for the Internet, it is freely available (if somewhat slow at times), it is getting better (fiber optic may come soon!) and we do our upmost to keep you connected.
Rooms
Our 3 star graded bedrooms include single, "superking" double (with 6ft wide beds) and twin rooms, all with high quality beds enhanced by simple white bed linen and big fluffy towels.
These rooms have en suite/private bath/shower rooms. All bedrooms have alarm clocks/radios, hairdryers, tea and coffee making facilities with complimentary shortbread. Rooms are available on the ground floor if required.
We also have two Economy Rooms available, one double room with a 5ft kingsize bed and one twin room. These rooms have been recently refurbished with the same high quality beds, white bed linen and in-room facilities as our 3 star bedrooms but they share a bathroom (bath only, no shower) which is situated across the corridor
The Bunkhouse
Our 12-bed bunkhouse is popular with walkers, climbers and cyclists throughout the year, offering clean, simple, warm, budget-priced accommodation.
The bunkhouse is an ideal place to make new friends and discuss the endless opportunities for outdoor activities in the area. The bunks are all in one carpeted bunkroom where we provide covered memory foam mattresses, individual lockers, pillows and pillow cases. You are required to bring your own sleeping bag and towels plus a padlock for the locker. The bathroom area has Mira Sport showers, washbasins and toilets and the drying room contains a very effective dehumidifier to dry any wet clothes!
The fully equipped kitchen with large range cooker has everything your need to prepare meals for yourself. of course if you prefer not to cook you can enjoy a delicious homecooked lunch or evening meal in our warm, friendly bar. We are unable to provide a breakfast in the hotel for our bunkhouse guests. We do however offer breakfast rolls that may be pre ordered from the bar the night before and collected the next morning,simply ask for details at check in.
