A Small Highland Hotel with Big Highland Hospitality! We are a small family run Highland Hotel situated in the stunning village of Tongue in the beautiful county of Sutherland.
Enjoy panoramic views from the restaurant of Ben Loyal, Queen of Scottish Mountains, and of Castle Varrich, the ancient seat of the chief of the Clan Mackay. We serve a wide range of quality Highland produce such as Caithness sirloin steak and Kinloch venison along with an array of fresh local seafood from Loch Eribol langoustines to Cape Wrath crab and lobster, and Kinloch smoked salmon.
We have twin, double and single rooms available. All are en suite and most share the beautiful views seen from the restaurant.
Fully licensed, child friendly with free Wi-fi available in our bar and lounge areas. We also have loch fishing available at request and organised through the hotel.
