Inside the Social Studio on Smith Street is The Cutting Table, a cute café committed to highlighting African cuisine for the broader community. This little hole in the wall serves breakfast and lunch as well as a number of creative vegetarian options. On weekdays, The Cutting Table makes lunchboxes for dining on the go, and on the first Friday night of each month a special African feast is prepared – bookings are essential.
The Cutting Table Café is the heart of The Social Studio. Around the cutting table, people from all cultures and religions come together to learn, to design, to create, to share stories and to be part of a community.
The Cutting Table serves East and West African inspired dishes, locally roasted and ethically sourced coffee, organic juices and fresh made smoothies.
