Description
Thyme and Again B&B is situated in the centre of Graaff Reinet close to very nice restaurants and places of interest. We offer true, warm Karoo hospitality.
We have 3 air-conditioned, wheelchair accessible rooms with roll in showers and a choice of either twin or king size beds and 2 rooms have parking at the door. The Rosemary unit has an adjoining living/kitchen area. The 4th unit is upstairs, an open plan air conditioned family unit which sleeps 4 with a kitchenette and a bathroom with a bath. Our parking is secure and off street. There is access to the garden and swimming pool.

I have tried my best to make this B&B accessible to everyone. I have been overwhelmed with the response from all my guests and welcome any suggestions for improvements.

Accessibility

It is not often that you discover a place that offers caring comfort like Thyme and Again.Brenda (a registered nursing sister) and husband Johnnie, with the guidance of The Wheelchair Travel Club, have created a space that provides ease of access for those who, by circumstance, find their options severely limited when it comes to traveling away from home – everything is at the correct height, no stairs, awkward passages or narrow doors. There's even an emergency button in every suite.

Brenda has dreams of creating total independence for those in wheel-chairs – plans have been made to put a hoist in the swimming pool allow easy access without having to rely on the strong arms of others.

The accommodation to cater for disabled persons is of the best at this hotel. We will welcome a toilet extender in the bathroom to enable easier transfer to the toilet from the wheelchair Space between the toilet and the glass panel of the the shower will be to accommodate the wheelchair will be of great help. The room was quite big and spacious with disabled bathroom which has roll in shower and grab rails with shower seat which was very good. Breakfast in the morning was great.
