With 11 bedrooms the Atholl Centre can accommodate 32/35 people. The Centre has a separate apartment on the first floor which can sleep an additional 6 people. This can be booked separately as a holiday or small group let or included as part of your large group booking when available. Cots and airbeds can be supplied on request up to our maximum capacity, which is 45. (For larger groups, once the Centre is full, we can provide a list of local guest houses.)
We have several meeting rooms: our first floor conference room can take up to 60, our accessible multi-purpose dining room can seat up to 100, also accessible our cosy TV room seats 12 and other breakout spaces can be made available on request. These rooms are included in residential group bookings or available for hire separately by day groups both from the local community and from further afield. The adjoining church sanctuary is available subject to arrangement with the church, seating 130. We have on-site catering facilities and provide a range of meals and a self catering option.
Designed to include disabled guests, our main entrance has an accessible push button automatic entry, all of our ground floor is ramped and we have 6 accessible bedrooms which are all en-suite - 2 ambulant disabled and 4 wheelchair friendly. 3 of those bedrooms are in our chalet block, which also has a disabled friendly kitchen and living area and can be booked as a self -contained self-catering apartment, as individual rooms for B&B or as part of our group accommodation. We also cater for special diets.
The Centre is accessible in different ways. We have a disabled friendly door opener on our main entrance and the centre has built in internal ramps and wide corridors.
We have just completed refurbishment of our chalet which is now a fully accessible self-catering apartment with 3 en-suite bedrooms ( 2 ambulant disabled & one wheelchair en-suite), a living area with lots of room to manoeuvre and a disability adapted kitchen with rise & fall worktop. The new chalet can be rented as a self-contained unit or the bedrooms can be used for B&B or for group accommodation as required.
Twin & family rooms are available & rooms with double beds. We have a small lounge on the ground floor and our spacious dining room serves as a multi-purpose room, so can be used as meeting or activity space as well as somewhere to eat. For a larger meeting space the adjoining renovated Baptist church is available by agreement and can seat up to 130. All the chairs are movable and there are also tables available.
Special diets can be catered for and we can help plan your stay to include disabled friendly activities including wheelchair friendly walks due to our knowledge of the local area. We have bed raisers, commodes, a wheeled zimmer and 2 wheelchairs to lend if needed. Pitlochry Shop Mobility can provide electric scooters if required.
