Open since the mid-80's, Mario's is a bit of an icon on Brunswick Street. While the restaurant is wonderfully retro, the menu has subtly changed over the years to cater to Melbourne's changing eating habits. You can still find classic pasta dishes served here since inception alongside smaller bites, best enjoyed by the window, watching Fitzroy pass by – a true Melbourne experience.
