Located on Murray Street in the heart of the Perth CBD, Kangaroo Inn is walking distance to major attractions, entertainment venues, as well as Perth’s funky bars, restaurants and cafes. Public transportation, taxis and airport shuttles are all easily accessible.
We offer both private and shared rooms to suit a variety of budgets and needs. Guests in private rooms can choose between Queen, King Single or Family room configurations and enjoy four star comfort beds, reverse cycle air-conditioning, LCD TV, in-room safe, wardrobe and desk as standard amenities. Guests in shared rooms can choose between 6-bed, 4-bed or 2-bed rooms and enjoy reverse cycle air-conditioning, thick king single spring mattresses, LED reading lights and individual lockers. Spacious and private Male and Female bathrooms are provided on every floor for guest comfort offering European tapware from Grohe and basins from Gustavsberg (sister company to Vileroy & Boch).
Guest facilities include a library, lounge, home theatre, outdoor patio and barbeque facilities, computer terminals as well as dining & kitchen facilities. WiFi is available throughout the premises.

KING SINGLE ROOM
Our spacious King Single Rooms are perfect for the Solo Traveller whether for business or leisure.
For your comfort, we have fitted these rooms with with luxury 4-star king single sized beds, hotel grade linen, 32 inch LCD TV, in-room electronic safe, as well as a desk and chair should you need it. Reverse cycle Daikin airconditioning is also availble and you are free select to select heating, cooling and temperature most suitable for you. There are plenty of power points available for charging and powering your various electronic devices. Naturally WiFi is freely available in your room and throughout the premises.

FAMILY ROOM
With one queen sized bed and three king single beds, our Family Rooms are able to accommodate up to five people at a time. Why spend more money on accommodation then you really have to, especially when you will be spending most of your time outside.
Despite the budget price tag, your family won’t be roughing it when you stay in our Family Rooms. With premium quality spring mattresses and hotel grade linen, we’ll ensure you will sleep in comfort. The room is also fitted with 32in LCD TV, Daikin reverse cycle air-conditioning, desk, in-room safe, open plan wardrobe as well as an electronic door lock.
Our Family Rooms are also great for groups of mates travelling together.
Ladies Only Dorm
Those who not only want a comfortable nights rest but also want to chill in their rooms during the day, or even take a siesta without getting too interrupted by others coming in and out.
Our 4-bed shared rooms are well appointed with power points available for you to charge your electronic devices, a desk to work on, low glare room lighting as well as LED reading lights for every bed. Your room and possessions will also be well secured with RFID security access locks and personal storage lockers (please bring your own padlock).
For your sleeping comfort we have fitted out these rooms with king single sized beds, which at 107cm wide and 203cm tall are the largest single beds we could find in Australia. Your bed will be prepared using hotel grade linen and bedding, which along with the reverse cycling air-conditioning, will ensure you get a comfortable nights rest. Towels are also provided.
Our 4-bed rooms are generally booked on a per bed basis. However, we can also arrange for them to be booked by the room, making them excellent for groups of friends travelling together.
2 BED BUNK
When fitting out these rooms we looked at giving our guests the best stay experience possible in a shared room. Our 2-bed rooms are well appointed with plenty of space, privacy and variety of standard amenities including, LED reading lights, premium room controlled air-conditioning, and even a writing desk with multiple power points. We have also installed state-of-the-art RFID room access and personal storage lockers for your peace of mind.
We went a bit overboard with our beds which are hotel grade and found in some 4 star hotels. At king single in size they are also the largest single beds available in Australia. We also supply you with freshly prepared bedding, linen and towels so you can travel lighter when you stay with us.
Our two beds shared rooms are available to be booked on either a per bed or per room basis.
4 BED BUNK
Just like our 6-bed shared rooms…..only better. These rooms are for those who not only want a comfortable nights rest but also want to chill in their rooms during the day, or even take a siesta without getting too interrupted by others coming in and out.
Our 4-bed shared rooms are well appointed with power points available for you to charge your electronic devices, a desk to work on, low glare room lighting as well as LED reading lights for every bed. Our priority when fitting out our 6-bed rooms was on maximising guest sleeping comfort in a shared room. The piece-de-resistance of these rooms are the beds themselves, which are king single in size (107cm x 203cm), making them some of the largest single beds available in the world! – How’s that for space? Furthermore, our 6-bed rooms have reading lights for each bed and reverse cycle air-conditioning . We also offer in-room lockers as well as secure RFID room access for your peace of mind.
Leave your sleeping bag and towel at home as we also provide our guests with linen, bedding and towels.
Our 6-bed rooms are generally booked on a per bed basis. However, we can also arrange for them to be booked by the room, making them perfect for group travel such as sports clubs.
