Dorms
Our dorms are newly renovated, air-conditioned, with large security lockers (BYO Padlock) for your bags and valuables. Every room is cleaned daily and has plenty of hanging space, strong bunk beds, new quality mattresses and brand new timber floors to ensure a comfortable stay for all of guests at Mad Monkey Backpackers.
Common Areas
Spacious common room with comfortable modern furniture, free Wi-Fi, and large commercial fridges. Start your night with a few pre-drinks or challenge your friends to a game at our 8ft professional beer pong table. You can even check out our events board; which is packed with fun nights out, pre-drink parties and more.
Kitchen
Our kitchen is renovated with stainless steel, new ovens and cooktops, commercial fridges and freezer, plenty of food storage, and trendy eating areas in the common area. Don’t worry if you’re not a pro-chef though, as you are in luck; our sister bar – Mad Monkey Travel & Bar, serves great, quality food at affordable backpacker prices.
TV Room
Next to the common area, you’ll find a general chill out zone. Catch up on the latest blockbusters in our movie room with a 50” TV, Foxtel, Apple TV, Cable and surround sound. Or visit the book exchange and reading area, and just put your feet up and relax.
