Stayed for one night at this hotel few months ago. It has beautiful architectural details and a very helpful and welcoming staff. The rooms were nicely decorated and equipped. here was a large TV, nice leather chair, comfy bed and a selection of pillows to use. The downside to this lovely hotel is that if you have mobility issues, you will find it difficult due to the hotels size, there was lots of walking involved. There are lifts to all floors, but the hotel has numerous small amounts of steps without hand rails to negotiate to get from reception to your room or to breakfast. At the end of the day it is an old listed building. Wheel chair access may have been available with a bit of crisscrossing and using different lifts, but I would advise you to phone and check before booking. I suspect only part of the facilities may be wheelchair friendly.
