This is a fantastic museum and very accessible, we had a ball visiting here. The main entrance is not accessible for wheelchairs and the accessible entrance is located on 8th Street. I used the bus service to get here and it was excellent. This part of NYC is a little hilly in places so it is a bit of a push up from the main entrance to 8th and then down a slope to the accessible doors. However, once inside, everything is smooth and the staff are very friendly. There is a cafe to get refreshments as well as lots of vendors outside the museum. The lifts are no problem, although there can be long queues to use them at times.
