On reaching the museum found the building itself is attractive. Admission is free but donations are welcome. The parking at rear of building for disabled people but to be informed in the advance of the visit. The main part of the museum is at ground level and easily accessible for the disabled. It is laid out in an interesting way and the various displays contain objects from the earliest known origins of the town onwards. Also the first floor accessible by lift as there are some paintings over there. Accessible toilets available at the ground floor which are clean enough to use. Overall it was a great visit and disabled friendly.
